Beam sends a file or block of text between two devices using nothing but a screen and a camera - one device displays it as a stream of animated QR codes, the other points its camera at the screen and reconstructs it. There is no network path between the two devices at any point, no app to install, and no account. It is a fork of the open-source decimen-optical-transfer project, hosted and rebranded by Baenk under the MIT license.
